Abstract:

In this study, a combination of micro gas turbine, absorption cooling and organic rankine cycle is selected. The system is modeled applying laws of thermodynamic and based on this model, exergy and economic analysis is performed for each component of the system. To evaluate system performance four design variable, namely, compressor pressure ratio, turbine inlet temperature, turbine efficiency and compressor efficiency are considered. To evaluate the effect of chemical exergy on irreversibility of absorption cycle considered two models regardless of chemical exergy effect, then with chemical exergy effect on the system analysis and are compared with each other. Exergy efficiency and total cost rate are considere as two objective function of the tri-generation system. Based on results, the exergy efficiency increases by promoting micro gas turbine cycle to tri-generation system from 31% to 38.6%. The results based on pareto front indicate that exergy efficiency can be increased upto 52% and total cost rate reduced down to 5.2 $/hr.
